Martin Auto Group November 2024 Veterans Day
Martin Auto Group hosted a poignant flag-raising ceremony on Veterans Day, November 11, 2024, marking the return of a flag that had flown for decades but had been without a properly functioning flagpole for over five years. After extensive repairs to the flagpole, the ceremony took place, with several staff members who are veterans lending a helping hand to raise the flag.
Al Raisin, one of the veterans involved, shared his personal reflection on the experience: “The military taught me a lot of my values,” he said. “It taught me to be a man and taught me how to do things the right way every day, without fail, no exceptions, and I’m truly blessed because of it.”
Another veteran, Robert Daugherty, expressed his pride in the collective effort of military service: “As a veteran, I’ve always been very proud of the freedoms we’ve earned from everybody pitching in together.”
The flag now flies 24/7, illuminated by dedicated lighting, serving as a symbol of the pride, commitment, and unity celebrated on this significant day.
